To Vioski or not to V. The Question

I recently had several fabulous conversations with the Vioski Team.  Having been a fan of theirs for a long time I am torn between the opportunity to bring in this amazing product when I have so little room.  My designers need to see to sell, so life just got a bit easier for you.  

 I love the Chairs, Obviously top middle the most, bottom left is in 2nd place.

 The classics, from designer Jeff Vioski,is another reason I love this line. A real person, a real creative. 

And they love their customers as much as I love mine!

Cancer Causing Chemicals Removed from CA foam!

SUBJECT: FIRE RETARDANTS IN POLYURETHANE FOAM 


Dear Valued Customer, 

As part of a change in California law on January 1, 2014, all fire retardant chemicals have been banned from polyurethane foams designed for household use in the state. While there is an 18 month grace period, Lazar is moving much faster to discontinue the use of these products. 

These chemicals have been determined to potentially be cancer causing and as a result the state has passed a law banning the use of these chemicals. 

Lazar, as a founding member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council has always strived to produce the most environmentally friendly consumer products that we can legally manufacture. Of course, the health and well- being of our end user is of the utmost importance to our company as well. 

With this in mind and the new laws passed in California, Lazar will cease using ANY polyurethane foam manufactured with any fire retardants effective April 2014. Our producers of foam have already begun pouring the new foam products and have committed to us that they will use up all existing inventories and begin only shipping 100% fire retardant free foams to Lazar by the end of this month. Many have depleted the old inventory already. 

We have also confirmed that all of the fabrics being used in our line pass the current cigarette smolder test which is what many states are requiring now with regard to flammability on upholstered products for the new TB117 code.
